I'm still mystified at
how Jim's car, Torpedo Todd, has managed to last this long and I only have God to thank for letting it last as long at it has. That car has been on it's last legs for quite some time now. According to my dad it's a piece of junk. He thinks that at anytime the bottom could fall out and we'll be making like the Flintstones. Plus, it has bad wiring and the lights will turn on in the middle of the night all by themselves, which is bad news during a cold winter when the life of your battery is already being tested. Torpedo Todd has also needed new tires for about a year now, which, according to Jim, are very expensive ($600+)
So, needless to say we've needed a new, or new to us, vehicle for a while. We both decided that we weren't going to spend anymore money on Todd, meaning Jim would need a car for the
winter. And there have been times that a truck would have come in handy this summer. If you've ever lived in Wyoming you know a 4 wheel drive truck is a must. So, we decided to purchase a used truck. It's a 1997 white 4x4 Chevy Silverado. It only has 69,000 miles which is huge bonus. The interior is immaculate and according to NADA.com we managed to get a pretty good deal. The only downside was when we went to fill the gas tank up for the first time...OUCH.

That looks like a pretty BIG truck. I can hardly see the person standing at the front end since the truck bed and cab are humongous! Congrats! Drive safe.
